I will assist you in preparing your home for sale. An important part of that preparation is staging your property for sale. In most cases, this involves removing items from a home as opposed to adding them. Most homes contain many personal items that have been gathered over the years, and although they are important to you, it’s best that they be packed up in preparation for moving. Items such as family photos and collectibles that might be considered very taste-specific would be at the top of the list. This achieves two important goals for the seller: 1) it protects these items from potential damage, and 2) it depersonalizes your home, which makes it easier for prospective buyers to visualize their own furniture and belongings in the space.

The ability for buyers to project themselves and their belongings into a home is a critical step for visualizing themselves living there. If a prospective buyer starts envisioning their furniture in your home and discussing modifications they might want to make, then they are that much closer to making an offer! A properly staged home helps provide the conditions for this to happen.
